Attend an info session in our office to learn about course offerings and the enrollment process for the academy. We have a cohort that begins each class every month.

Our team assists in placing you into a career opportunity related to the course you have graduated. All our employment partners offer a livable wage and growth opportunities.

To receive our job placement assistance, you must graduate from one of the courses offered from the school's training academy.

Counseling

Life can be tough. Ignored trauma can lead to a life of survival rather than abundant peace. We believe every psychological need we have is a symptom of an underlying spiritual quest to know yourself, experience God, and belong. In our completely private, donor funded, counseling room, we work with you to you to seek healing from life’s challenges in a safe, non-threatening, and non-imposing environment.

Counseling helps you understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, providing you with the tools to cope with life's challenges. Our counselors offer guidance along with practical strategies for emotional healing, growth, and restoration. Whether you’re dealing with past trauma or seeking to strengthen relationships, counseling offers a path toward wholeness.

We only engage in faith-oriented conversations with clients if we are invited by clients to do so. We do not deny R&R counseling services to anyone because of their spiritual preferences.

We believe everyone should have access to counseling, regardless of their financial situation. At R&R Ministries, we at no cost to patron counseling to those who cannot afford it.

To schedule an appointment, please contact our Counseling Coordinator Melanie Baker direct line: 469-208-8426 or email address: melanieb@randrministries.org. She will help you find a time that works for you and connect you with one of our counselors.

Workplace competency refers to the basic, yet essential skills, behaviors, and knowledge needed to succeed in a professional environment.

Key Areas of Focus Include:

Soft Skills – Resume building, mock interviews, and communication skills

Digital Literacy – Basic computer skills and online navigation

Financial Literacy – Managing personal finances and budgeting

Workplace Behaviors – Punctuality, attendance, appearance, job performance, and meeting expectations

The Workplace Competency program is a three-week initiative conducted prior to the start of the four-week vocational training course. It includes six sessions, held twice per week.

While participation is not mandatory, the competency sessions offer a valuable opportunity to stay engaged with R&R and build essential skills before career-based vocational training officially begins.

Discipleship

No. The R&R Skills Training Academy is separate from R&R Ministries and participants in the academy are not required to participate in any faith-based content.

This discipleship group will focus on workplace behavior, exploring what the Bible teaches about work ethics, conduct, and integrity in professional environments.
